A BUMPUS FULL LEATHER REBIND – A near fine book, sumptuously rebound in full red leather with raised bands to the spine, also with fully gilded page blocks by Bumpus of Oxford Street. There is a small indentation to the spine, with some faint age related scratches to the boards. Internally there is a small owner inscription to the title page – Lady Moyra Cavendish. The book has been inscribed by the author to the front end-paper. The inscription reads – INSCRIBED BY / WINSTON CHURCHILL / JULY 1936. The book is a sixth impression, first impression in the Keystone Library, February 1934. The correct UK first edition was published in October 1930. A lovely title in a high quality period rebind. 002074
