PAPERBACK – CORRECT UK FIRST EDITION – A fine copy bound in the publisher’s illustrated paper wraps. There is absolutely no fading to the spine, but there is a tiny indentation to the upper spine corner. The front and rear panels are very clean indeed with no creasing, and with no laminate lifting or loss to the paper covers. Internally, the pages are very lightly toned, but much less than usually encountered. Free of any foxing, with no previous owner names or inscriptions inset. The book is the correct UK first edition with the Wendy Cooling review to the front panel, the Philosophers printing error to the rear panel and with the correct 10-1 number sequence found to the copyright page. Included with this book is a Hogwart’s Express card, signed by the author, with an accompanying letter of provenance from J K Rowling’s PA, Fiddy Henderson, thanking the previous card’s owner for their initial letter. Housed in a felt-lined clamshell box that has been custom-made for this book to ensure it does not get damaged in the future. A very nice book indeed that looks unread and has none of the usual fading to the spine invariably seen with this title. We have handled numerous copies of this title in over twenty years of buying and selling Harry Potter titles. This copy is by far the best example that we have handled. Seller Inventory # 002373
