HARDBACK – A very good or better book bound in the publisher’s brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Internally clean with light toning to the closed text block. No foxing to the page blocks or to the inner text. Free of any previous owner names or inscription. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with just the merest chipping to the spine tip. There is browning to the spine, also to the edges of the front and rear flap folds. There is a tear to the upper spine that has been invisibly repaired with a little filmoplast tape. A nice example with the publisher’s printed price of 7s 6d net is present to the centre of the spine.
