HARDBACK – A near fine book bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards with bright gilt lettering present to the spine. A little pushing to the base of the spine, else clean and bright. Internally there is very mild toning to the top closed page block, but no foxing or finger marks to the inner text. There is a previous owners book plate ( michael hogg ) to the front paste down. Inscribed by the author to the front end paper. The inscription reads – MICHAEL HOGG / FROM THE / AUTHOR / 19 NOVEMBER / 1974. The book has also been signed by the author to the title page. The dust wrapper is in fine condition with no tears or loss. A nice example with the publisher’s printed price of £2.25.net present to the lower front flap. The W H Smith literary award wrap around band is included with this title. There is a hint of fading to the spine, but with no loss. Seller Inventory # 002344
