Description
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. HARDBACK – A near fine book bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards with bright gilt lettering present to the spine. There is a little pushing to the spine tips, else clean and fresh. There is light foxing to the closed top text block, but internally very clean indeed with no foxing or finger marks inset. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. Inscribed by the author to the title page. Included with the book is a Sunday Times Literary Festival ticket where David Nobbs was a guest speaker. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition with light toning to the panels. The Gollancz logo at the base of the spine has faded, as is common with this title. No loss or tears, with the publisher’s printed price of £ 3.60 net present to the lower front flap. A nice copy, seldom found inscribed by the author.
