HARDBACK – A very good or better book, free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. There is a faint erasure mark to the top centre of the front free end-paper, else a very clean copy, free of any foxing or finger marks. Bound in its original black cloth, with bright red lettering to the spine. The dust wrapper is a very good example with chipping to the spine tips, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. Lightly faded to the spine, but overall, a clean dust wrapper, and one of 6000 first editions printed by Gollancz in 1934. Bookseller Inventory # 001464
