HARDBACK – A very good book bound in the publisher’s cloth boards with gilt lettering present to the spine. There is a hint of fading to the extremities on the front and rear boards, with a little pushing to the spine tips. Internally the page blocks and inner text are free of foxing, but has the usual toning associated with New English Library books of this period. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. The dust wrapper is also in very good condition with no fading to the spine. There are three closed tears to the front panel, with a single closed tear to the bottom corner of the rear flap. There are tiny losses to the spine tips, with some rubbing to the wrapper’s extremities. The publisher’s printed price of £ 2.50 is present to the front flap. An exceedingly scarce book to acquire, with most copies purchased for the library system.
