HARDBACKS – THE BLOFELD TRILOGY – Each of the three books are in near fine condition, free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. You Only Live Twice is the first edition, second state, with March 1964 present to the copyrite page. The Thomas Blofeld book plates are found to the front pastedowns of each of the three titles. Thomas Blofeld was a close friend of Ian Fleming, both attending Eton school in the 1920’s. Ian Fleming used Thomas Blofeld’s surname for the iconic villian, Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the James Bond novels, Thunderball, OHMSS and You Only Live Twice. Also known as the Blofeld trilogy. The dust wrapper’s are also in near fine condition, all free of any price clipping, with no loss present in any of the three wrapper’s. There is a little fading to the spine of the OHMSS dust wrapper, but overall, the dust wrappers and books are in excellent condition. Bookseller Inventory # 001203
