FIRST PAPERBACK EDITION, correct first impression. A very good book with a little rubbing to the base of the spine, but with no tears or loss. Internally, the pages are toned, but free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. This copy is the international edition, destined for export only, and marked with “Not for sale in UK” present to the rear of the books panel. The rare promotional Thunderball movie tie-in dust jacket is included with the book. There is shallow chipping to the spine tips, with very mild creasing to the upper rear panel. The promotional dust jackets were printed in extremely small numbers to aid the sale of unsold copies, and to promote the upcoming film Thunderball starring Sean Connery. In the last twenty five plus years of buying and selling Ian Fleming titles, this is only the second copy of the You Only Live Twice paperback with the promotional dust wrapper we have handled. Rare.
