HARDBACK – SECOND IMPRESSION – A very good or better book, bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards with gilt lettering present to the spine. The red cloth boards are very clean indeed with no fading to the front or rear boards or to the spine. There is a little pushing to the spine tips. Internally the inner text is clean and fresh with just a couple of faint foxing spots to the text block, but with no foxing to the inner text. The red top-stain has faded. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. the folded map is present to the rear and is in fine condition. The original dust wrapper is in near very good condition with chipping to the spine tips, also with shallow chipping to the extremities. There is toning to the spine, with a few closed tears to the spine hinges. The publisher’s printed price of 21s.net are present to the front and rear flaps. A scarce title published only a few months after the correct first impression.
