HARDBACK – A very good book, tightly bound in the publisher’s grey cloth boards with silver lettering to the spine. The boards are clean, but with some ghosting to the spine. Internally, the pages are clean with some spotting to the page blocks, but the inner text is quite clean with some light foxing to the first and last few pages. There is the odd sporadic mark to a few of the inner pages. There is a previous childs owner inscription present to the front map paste-down. The dust wrapper is also in very good condition with chipping to the spine tips, more so to the crown, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. There is soiling to the rear panel, with a couple of faint creases. A correct UK first edition with the publishers printed price of 10s.6d net present to the front flap.
