HARDBACK – A near fine book, bound in the publishers black cloth boards with bright gold lettering to the spine. There is minimal bumping to the spine tips with a small bump to the bottom corner of the rear panel. Internally, the inner text is clean, free of any foxing or finger marks. No previous owner names or inscriptions inset. There is a very thin faint line present to the front and rear end-paper where the edge of the dust wrapper flaps have lightly ingrained. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition with shallow chipping to the spine tips and to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. Light rubbing to the extremities with a few light crease lines to the spine. Overall, a nice copy of a title that is notoriously difficult to acquire in collectable condition. The New English Library publisher’s printed price of £6.95 is present to the front flap.
