HARDBACK – A near fine book, bound in the publisher’s black cloth boards with bright red lettering to the spine and heart to the front board. The boards are very clean indeed with no marks present. Internally the inner text is clean and fresh, but with some light foxing to the closed top text block. The book is free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. The dust wrapper is in also in near fine condition with no loss or tears, but with very light rubbing to the extremities. There is light toning to the rear panel, also to the edges of the front and rear flaps. A 1959 reprint of the first reprinted issue which was originally published in 1957. This Pat Marriot designed wrapper was published only six years after the scarce first UK edition. The publisher’s printed price of 13s.6dnet is present to the front flap. A very nice example.
