HARDBACK – SECOND IMPRESSION 1962 – A very good or better book bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards that are very clean indeed with a small bump to the top corner of the upper spine tip. Internally the pages are clean with light toning to the closed page block. There are no foxing or finger marks to the inner text but there is a contemporary inscription to the top corner of the front end paper with some very light rubbing below the name. There is a small book sellers label present to the lower front paste down. Signed and inscribed by the author to the title page. The inscription reads – TO — JOSEPH HELLER / SEPTEMBER 1988. The book is tightly bound and looks lightly read. The price clipped dust wrapper is in very good condition with shallow chipping to the spine tips, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. There is toning to the rear panel, also with some browning to the spine. There are five reviews to the rear panel. denoting that the dust wrapper is exactly the same as the first edition, second state example found on the UK first edition copies of this title. Included with this title are two of the four post cards that were published for this title.  Seller Inventory # 002568
