In the Hour Before Midnight – Jack Higgins

HARDBACK – A near fine book bound in the publisher’s black cloth boards with bright gilt lettering present to the spine. Internally there is a hint of fading to the blue top stain, with a small Foyles book sellers sticker to the lower corner of the front paste down. Very clean internally, free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with no loss or tears, but with some unnecessary tape reinforcement to the verso of the dust wrapper. Please check picture three. Thankfully the tape does not show through to the front of the wrapper. Light toning to the front and rear flaps, with fading to the Jack Higgins lettering to the spine. The original lettering was red, this has faded to a yellow colour. No loss or tearing, with the publisher’s printed price of 25s ( £1.25) net in the UK present to the top corner of the front flap.
