Description

HARDBACK – A near fine book with black boards that are clean and unmarked. The gilt lettering to the spine, and gold medallion to the front panel are bright with no fading. Internally, the text block and inner pages are very clean indeed, free of foxing. There is a small and very faint erase mark to the front paste-down where a previous owner name was once written. There is also some faint soiling to the front end-paper, with a small spot to the upper front paste down. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition with no Kenneth Lewis blurb to the front flap denoting a correct first state example. This example features the text ‘author’ sskill’ with the printed error within the Irish Times review. There is minor chipping to the spine tip, with a very small closed tear to the front panel. A very clean example with the dust wrapper’s colouring fresh and bright, with a little soiling to the rear panel. The correct publisher’s printed priced of 10s.6d.net is present to both the front and rear flap. Seller Inventory # 000979
