HARDBACK – A near fine book bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards with black lettering to the spine. Internally clean with light toning to the closed text block. There is a previous contemporary prize owner inscription present to the half title page. Printed only four months after the very scarce first edition. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with light chipping to the spine tip, also with very shallow chipping to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. A little rubbing to the hinges, but overall a clean example with the publisher’s printed price of 7/6 net present to the front flap.
