HARDBACK – A very good book bound in the publisher’s blue cloth boards with bright gilt lettering to the spine. There are a couple of small marks to the top corner of the front panel with a hint of fading to the spine. Internally the inner text is clean with some foxing throughout the text. There is a neat previous owner name present to the front end paper. The book is tightly bound with no spine lean. The dust wrapper is also in very good condition with chipping to the spine tips, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. A couple of the small closed tears present to the flap folds have had tiny strips of filmoplast archival tape added to them to prevent the tears from increasing in the future. The added filmoplast is minimal and melds into the paper seamlessly. There is toning to the spine as is often seen with this title, but overall the dust wrapper is a clean example that presents very well indeed. The title is the correct UK first edition with the publisher’s printed price of 7/6 present to the spine. Seller Inventory # 002285
