HARDBACK – AN EX LIBRARY COPY – A very good book bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards with gilt lettering present to the spine. Internally there is toning to the closed text blocks with a small stain to the side block. There is rubbing to the front pastedown where a card may have been removed with a slither of paper present to the opposite page. Please view our picture. There is a library stamp to the title page, with a few small library stamps to the lower inner text. The book has been boldly signed by the author to the upper title page. A library book that is quite lightly read and still tightly bound. The dust wrapper is in near very good condition with light chipping to the spine tips and to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. There is toning to the panels as is common with this title, more so to the extremities. The publisher’s printed price of 16s.net present to the lower front flap. In our experience Horse Under Water is by far the hardest title to acquire, signed by the author. We have only had two other signed copies of this title in over twenty five years of buying and selling Len Deighton titles. Seller Inventory # 002580
