Description

HARDBACK – A very good second state binding ‘A’ variant copy. This example was shipped to South Africa. The black cloth boards are clean with a little pushing to the spine tips with some tiny bumping to a couple of the corners. Internally, there is light foxing to the page block, but the inner pages are clean and fresh. There is a small former owner’s label present to the front free end-paper, with a small bookseller’s ticket (rubbed) to the front paste-down. A tightly bound book in a very good or better dust wrapper free of any tears or loss, with the publisher’s printed price of 18s.net present to the front flap. This is the exceedingly scarce variant with the silver lettering to the spine. Considered scarcer than any other first edition of The Man with the Golden Gun, including the first state binding with the Golden Gun embossed to the front board. Seller Inventory # 002068
