HARDBACK – A near fine book, bound in the publishers red cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are in excellent condition, free of any bumping to the corners, or pushing to the spine tips. There are no previous owner names or Inscriptions inset. The book has been boldly inscribed by the author to the verso of the half title page. The inscription reads – TO / ALISTAIR / AND / FIONA / WITH LOVE / ROALD DAHL / 14 MARCH 1981. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition, free of any chips or tears. There is light fading to the spine that has slightly encroached to the edge of the front panel. Overall, a nice clean dust wrapper with the publisher’s printed price of £ 3.50net present to the front flap.
