Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats – T.S.Eliot

HARDBACK – A near very good book bound in the publisher’s yellow cloth boards with clean red lettering to the spine and illustration to the front panel. There is a little toning to the spine with some very mild soiling to the bottom of the front panel, but the boards are clean and fresh. Internally the inner pages are quite clean with no foxing, but with the odd finger marks present within the text. There is a contemporary inscription present to the front end paper. The dust wrapper is in only good condition with chipping to the spine tips and to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. There is soiling to the front panel, less so to the rear panel. The spine of the dust wrapper has been reinforced with filmoplast by the last owner. This has strengthened the spine somewhat, but there are small areas of loss. Please see our pictures. The publisher’s printed price of 3s.6d.net is present to the lower front panel. The dust wrapper has faults, but this is reflected in the selling price. Seller Inventory # 002548
