Sumptuously re-bound in full peach morocco with all edges gilt, five raised bands that have been lined in gilt to the spine with the title blocked in gilt in panel two and with the author’s name blocked in gilt in panel three. Enid Blyton’s autograph blocked in gold to the front board. Internally, the inner pages are very clean and fresh, Inscribed by Enid Blyton to the second blank end-paper. The Inscription reads DIANA / LOVE FROM / ENID BLYTON ink blue ink. The front panel and spine of the original binding have been incorporated into the rear text of the book. The re-binding of this title is of the highest quality and the end result is a book that looks absolutely stunning.
