HARDBACK – A near fine book, bound in the publisher’s red cloth boards that are bright red, free of any fading or dulling to the spine or to the front and rear boards. There is a small contemporary name to the front end-paper. The text block is lightly toned as expected, due to the quality of paper used in the books production, but less than what is normally encountered, with a little sporadic foxing to the text block, but not to the inner pages. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition, with very minor restoration to the spine tips and to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. The restoration is very minor, but of the highest quality. The red square portion of the spine has faded to an orange, but overall, the wrapper is a clean example that has been neatly price clipped. The dust wrapper is the correct first edition, first impression with the wider front and rear flaps.
