HARDBACK – A very fine book bound in the publisher’s pictoral boards that are exceptionally clean and fresh with absolutely no pushing to the spine tips. Internally, there is the merest hint of toning to the closed text block, but with no foxing or finger marks inset. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. It is generally regarded that Bloomsbury officially printed a total of 5150 copies in 1999, of which a total of 2500 were the correct first state edition with the printing error of Joanne Rowling present to the copy rite page, also with the dropped text to page seven. The dust wrapper is also in very fine condition. A flawless example with the publisher’s printed price of £ 10.99 present to the lower front flap.
