The Ipcress File – INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR – Len Deighton

Description

HARDBACK – A near fine book bound in the publisher’s orange boards with bright gilt lettering to the spine. There is a very small indentation to the rear centre of the spine, else the boards are very clean indeed with no soiling. Internally there is very light toning to the closed page block, but with no signs of foxing or finger marks to the inner text. The book has been inscribed by the author to the top corner of the title page. The inscription reads – FOR DAVID / FROM LEN DEIGHTON. The dust wrapper is also in near fine condition with a little rubbing to the extremities, also with a little toning, due to the lamination process used by Hodder in the production of this wrapper. There are a couple of small scratches to the rear panel, but with no loss or tears. The publisher’s printed price of 15/- net is present to the front flap. A nice, clean example.
