HARDBACK – A very good or better book bound in the publisher’s black cloth boards with silver text to the spine.There is a little fading to the red top page block, but with no signs of foxing to the page block or to the inner text. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. Warmly inscribed by the author to the title page – TO / J TESSA / ALWAYS LOVE / LEN DEIGHTON. / JULY ’72. The dust wrapper is also in very good or better condition with a very light rubbing to the extremities, also with a touch of fading to the red Len Deighton lettering to the upper spine, but with no loss or tears, with the publisher’s printed price of £1.95 net is present to the front flap. A nice example, scarce to acquire inscribed by the author in year of publication.
